Superman is a Kryptonian man by the name of Kal-El. His father was a scientist on Krypton who was the one that discovered that the planet was unstable. His father was also the man who built the ship that Kal-El traveled in to reach earth. Kal-El was about two years old when his ship crash landed in a cornfeild in Smallville Kansas. As he grew older he began to possess supernatural abilities such as superspeed, heat and X-ray vision, sonic hearing, and of course flight.
The Flash is a human scientist by the name of Wally West. I myself dislike Mr. West because All he can do is run, and that my friends is only by pure accident. No destiny, no heritage, just a freak accident. Sure, running can get you to where the trouble is but then what? He better work out or something cause if he doesn't he can't really help too much.
Aquaman, Arthur Curry is an Atlantian outcast from birth. His mother was a mirmaid and at his birth discovered he could control water. His other abilities are breathing while submerged in water, speaking to sealife, and when he's hydrated he wields super strength.
